Action Team
Action Teams are a Volunteers of America and the Major League Baseball Player Trust exclusive project which encourages student leaders to create and execute community service projects in their high school communities. New to Pennsylvania, in the Pittsburgh area this summer (2009), Volunteers of America has formed four Action Teams. Two teams exist in both the Fox Chapel Area School District and the Shaler Area School District that involve 12 high school leaders.
