Norfolk Southern Corporation Gives Grant
Norfolk Southern Corporation presented $10,000 to Volunteers of America to support human services in Central Pennsylvania. The grant will support people in need of affordable housing, mental health services or emergency services. “Through the Volunteers of America Thrift Stores, our emergency service program assists those who are suffering the tragedies of house fires, floods, or other disasters,” explained Alan Garner, president of Volunteers of America of Pennsylvania. “The funding will help provide clothing, household items and other necessities at no cost to the recipients.”
