In addition to currently leasing five affordably-priced apartments, Brian’s Place offers a daytime respite center for individuals experiencing homelessness.
The Respite Center at Brian’s Place
Staffed by a team of trained outreach professionals, including a Community Health Worker trained to coordinate care and resources for individuals experiencing homelessness, the Respite Center has space for 5-6 individuals per day and operates from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Individuals admitted to the Respite Center have access to the following:
- Laundry facilities
- Shower and personal hygiene products
- Storage for personal items
- Community Room with big screen TV
- On-site health and SDOH providers to conduct assessments and provide services
- Private space for telehealth appointments

The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Residences
Individuals with any form of disability, including mental health diagnoses, are twice as likely as their peers to experience poverty and housing instability. The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Residences are five newly-constructed apartments in Wilkes-Barre, PA for adults with mental health disorders.
