When Stace, a young mom navigating an unplanned pregnancy with limited support, came to Volunteers of America of Pennsylvania, she was welcomed with open arms. With the guidance of a dedicated community health worker, she gained access to critical resources, education, and ongoing encouragement. These resources included, but were not limited to, prenatal care, home visits, support through her complex pregnancy, and her baby’s continued medical needs.![]()
Despite all her challenges, Stace’s community health worker showed up with stability and trust. Learn more about our community health services and programs in Pennsylvania: www.voapa.org/services/community-health-services/
