The Importance of Donor Gifts

Volunteers of America of Pennsylvania is devoted to nurturing, uplifting and empowering those we serve to reach their full potential. Your donation to Volunteers of America will touch thousands across Pennsylvania.
Your contribution makes a lasting difference for people with disabilities, chronic mental illness, the elderly, at-risk children and thousands of others we serve in Pennsylvania through 30 vital human services programs.
Your gift of $15 will provide a healthful meal to a child at our Children's Center; $25 will provide baby formula and diapers for a young mother and her newborn; $50 will provide clothing and shoes to a person who is homeless; $100 can help an elderly person in need of affordable housing.
And, your gift will be more than a handout or a quick fix. Instead, your gift will support programs and services that encourage positive development, foster independence and promote the type of self-sufficiency that can change someone's life.
Donations can be made in a number of ways, depending on your personal choice. We appreciate gifts of money, service, items such as vehicles (cars, trucks, RVs, and boats), supplies, and expertise.
While unrestricted gifts allow us to choose who will benefit, you may also designate your gift for a special purpose or program.
When you give, you make a difference — one person at a time.
